Frankfort, KY — Five weeks until the May primary and Gov. Matt Bevin’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week continued over the weekend. What started as an all-out war between Bevin and Senate President Robert Stivers, Senate Majority Leader Damon Thayer and others turned into an embarrassing weekend for Matthew Griswold Bevin.

ICYMI:

  • Before his speech, Bevin took the office of governor down to an even new low, verbally sparring with a Republican State Representative in a verbal altercation that had to be broken up.

  • Bevin was repeatedly confronted during a “community forum” in Martin County on his attacks on teachers, why he vetoed a pension relief bill and his support for charter schools. Most importantly, he was challenged for his slow response to water issues in Martin County.
