Kentucky's legislative and congressional districts will have different boundaries in next year's elections, but the specifics on what that redistricting process will look like over the next eight months are still up in the air.

One certainty about redistricting is Republican legislators will have near total control over the process for the first time in state history, as the party has a dominant 3-1 supermajority in both chambers of the Kentucky General Assembly.
