LOUISVILLE, Ky. — GE Appliances hourly workers want higher pay and better benefits, and they sent that message to their union leaders and the company Wednesday, voting down a new contract proposal by a whopping 87%.

After the overwhelming rejection, union leaders and the company's bargaining team pledged to get to work quickly to forge another deal that satisfies employees and the appliances maker.

Project Veritas aids McConnell in the U.S. Senate race, trespasses on private property

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Project Veritas, an extremist group known to use unethical tactics to present misleading claims about political candidates, has stepped into the U.S. Senate race in Kentucky to aid Sen. Mitch McConnell in his smear campaign against retired Lt. Col. Amy McGrath. McConnell is running in a tight race against McGrath.

What do you think of when you hear the word “police”? A badge? A traffic ticket? A neighborhood patrol? There is much more to “policing” in a democracy.

Mitch McConnell is “clutching his pearls while having a fainting spell” over the phrase defund the police, and has faked outrage over protesters pushing public officials to reevaluate the nation’s police budgets. In fact, he would have us believe he loves law enforcement and “the police.”
