AFGE rally rescheduled for March 21 at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Louisville

FROM DUSTIN REINSTEDLER, Kentucky State AFL-CIO president
As you know, the AFGE rally was cancelled last week due to weather. They have rescheduled for Friday, March 21st from noon until 2pm at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park located at 600 Martin Luther King Place in Louisville. This is directly across from the federal courthouse. For this event, we ask that you please share the attached flyer and promote to your members and allies. Several high profile politicians and leaders will be speaking out against trump and musk.
Please also note that Kentucky teachers affiliated with NEA will be holding coordinated events very soon. Details to follow but please put this on your calendars.
Last, when Kentucky’s general assembly adjourns soon, we will be shifting focus back to these national fights while highlighting how they are affecting working people in Kentucky. We hope you will join us in our many activities to come. For now, keep up the good fight in your own unions and feel free to join us in Frankfort anytime. Solidarity!
