Ads show Beshear’s record of delivering for law enforcement, with support from current and former sheriffs across party lines
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Today, Gov. Andy Beshear’s campaign released two new ads featuring current and former law enforcement officials across party lines endorsing his reelection and highlighting his record of delivering for law enforcement. In office, Gov. Beshear has secured $15,000 pay raises for state troopers, overseen increased Kentucky State Police recruitment classes, and backed more funding for training facilities and the resources law enforcement needs in Kentucky.

“Andy Beshear has consistently stood up for law enforcement and will always support our men and women in uniform,” said campaign manager Eric Hyers. “Daniel Cameron likes to talk about supporting our police, but as governor, Andy Beshear has actually delivered pay raises for our state troopers. And despite Daniel Cameron’s misleading attacks, Andy Beshear put public safety above politics and followed Trump’s lead during a public health emergency in releasing non-violent offenders near the end of their sentences. Andy Beshear has earned bipartisan praise from law enforcement officials, and is proud to have their support for his campaign.”
