From the Beshear-Coleman campaign: VIDEO: Beshear Calls Out Bevin for "100% False" Claim about Health Care for People with Pre-Existing Conditions

Andy Beshear is calling out Matt Bevin on social media for falsely claiming on video, "there is nothing that has ever been advocated at the state or federal level, that would ever take away somebody’s health care coverage due to a pre-existing condition."In particular, Beshear said that claim is "100% false" and pointed out that Bevin's own health care agenda directly threatens coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. 

Beshear continues: 

"You supported repealing protections for pre-existing conditions & joined a lawsuit to rip up vital coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, allowing insurance companies to deny coverage for prescription drugs, mental health services, chronic diseases & maternity care."The American Medical Association even said the harmful policies you're trying to bring to Kentucky would "revive pre-existing condition discrimination.

"Health care is a human right. As AG, I've been fighting to protect coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. And as governor, I’ll fight every single day to expand access to affordable care, so our families can actually get ahead. That's the difference in this race."
