Frankfort, KY—With less than 90 days until the general election, Matt Bevin is still facing sharp criticism and backlash from Republican officials and voters across Kentucky. 

“From his own lieutenant governor to Republican voters in southeastern Kentucky, Matt Bevin can’t escape his deeply unpopular and failed record of bullying and trying to rip away pensions and health care,” said Marisa McNee, spokesperson for the Kentucky Democratic Party.

“Look, I did not talk to him. I’ve never talked with him about the dismissals. My staff has not been treated right and I stand by my staff.” - Lt. Governor Jenean Hampton on Matt Bevin saying they have a “great relationship”
