PCAKY benefit golf scramble is just around the corner
The 10th annual Golf Scramble to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky is set for Monday June 10 at the Weissinger Hills Golf Course, 2240 Mt. Eden Rd. in Shelbyville.
Tee time is 8:30 a.m. EDT.
The event hosts are the Greater Louisville Building & Construction Trades Council and Teamsters 783.
"Please consider participating with a team or a sponsorship or just a donation," said Bill Londrigan, Kentucky State AFL-CIO president.
Added Londrigan: "We need your help to raise as much as we can on this 10th Anniversary of this worthwhile fundraising and awareness raising event to help prevent child abuse in Kentucky. So please...register your team or make a sponsorship contribution. Over the years organized labor has raised over half-million dollars for this critical cause and received due recognition for our efforts."
Since 1997, organized labor has helped raise $528,725 for child abuse prevention statewide, according to PCAKY.
