AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler and Get Out The Vote Plans & Labor Walks

Early voting begins tomorrow Thursday, November 2nd thru Saturday, November 4th, with Election Day this coming Tuesday, November 7th. It’s time for our final push to get union members and their families out to vote for our Endorsed Candidates! As you know, the Labor Vote helped push Andy and Jacqueline over the finish line last election and it will be the Labor Vote that will make the difference in this election as well. So we have a number of actions planned to get out the labor vote:
Labor Walks: It’s time for us to hit all of the union doors that we can and to turn out the vote of union members and their families and get them to make a plan to vote! Below are the scheduled Labor Walks around the Commonwealth and you are encouraged to plug in your members wherever you can. We must not forget that this election is all about turnout, turnout, turnout! So let’s do what we can to make it happen:
11/4/23 - GOTV Labor Walk (8:30am in Northern KY, 9:30am in Louisville, Lexington, Ashland, Paducah, Owensboro & Henderson)
11/6/23 - GOTV Labor Walk (10am in Louisville, Ashland, and Northern KY, and Owensboro)
11/7/23 - Election Day GOTV Labor Walk (9am in Louisville, Ashland, Northern KY, and Owensboro)

Monday – November 6th – For those in the Louisville area please join the Beshear/Coleman Campaign last stop on their bus tour at Milewide Brewing, 636 Barret Avenue, Louisville from 8:30 – 9:30 p.m. We will be joined by AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler as well. So let’s have some trade unionists in attendance!
Tuesday - Election Day – November 7th – Louisville Get Out the Vote Rally and Canvass with National AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler! As the attached flyer indicates President Shuler will once again come to Kentucky to help us Get Out the Union Vote! (Please share the flyer on social media and otherwise) We are honored that President Shuler will be in Kentucky on Election Day as we work to elect our endorsed candidates. So we need a big turnout on Tuesday, November 7th at 9:00 a.m. at IBEW Local 369 to hear from President Shuler who will join us in hitting the streets and to hit as many union doors as possible to make sure we get the huge turn out from Jefferson County that is essential for success! So join us, get as many of your members to join us as well, bring your friends and family!
