In addition, the Kentucky Democratic Party raised $2.1M in the fourth quarter, bringing their total raised in 2022 to $4.5M.
Beshear has consistently had high approval ratings, with approximately 60% of Kentuckians approving of his leadership. He has presided over historic job creation and infrastructure investments; just this week, $1.6 billion in funding was secured for the Brent Spence Bridge.
“What is happening in Kentucky right now is so exciting,” said Gov. Beshear. “We are bringing good jobs to every corner of our commonwealth—the kinds of jobs that make all the difference for our families, allowing people to strengthen their communities and provide a better life and future for their children. We also are making record investments that are bringing clean water, better roads, high-speed internet and now the much-needed funding for the Brent Spence Bridge in northern Kentucky. I deeply appreciate everyone who donated to help ensure that we can continue this progress.”
During his time in office, Gov. Beshear has removed barriers to health care coverage and relaunched kynect to expand quality care to more Kentuckians, restored voting rights for more than 180,000 Kentuckians, appointed a state school board that supports public education, and invested in schools, high speed internet and clean drinking water. The Governor has also led Kentucky to historic economic growth and provided strong, steady leadership during three of the most difficult years in Kentucky history with the pandemic and deadly natural disasters.
