On the same day the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police is endorsing Andy Beshear for governor, the Louisville Courier-Journal’s front page today is detailing how Andy Beshear outraised Matt Bevin in the latest fundraising period - even though Bevin is the sitting governor and spends his time using a taxpayer-funded state plane to travel across the country and raise campaign cash.

The Courier-Journal detailed how Beshear had more than double the number of donations than Bevin: “Data posted on the registry's website shows that Beshear identified 4,234 donations in his report covering the period of May 22 through Sept. 6. That compares with 1,782 contributions itemized in Bevin's report.”

This is especially bad news for Matt Bevin, who is locked in a legal battle with his own lieutenant governor and refuses to unify with Robert Goforth who won nearly 40% of the vote in the Republican primary. Bevin has also brought in big names to only draw widely-mocked crowds and is the least popular governor in the country.
