Charles Booker, the Democrat who wants Sen. Rand Paul's job, and Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison also huddled with union officials when the duo made a campaign stop in Louisville on Tuesday.
"It was a round table discussion," said Bill Londrigan, Kentucky State AFL-CIO president.
Kentucky Democratic Party Chair Colmon Elridge accompanied the candidate and DNC chair for the meeting with labor leaders at the IBEW Local 369 hall. Booker, a former Louisville state representative, and Harrison headlined a rally that attracted hundreds. Elridge was also at the rally. See related story.
