It looked like a campaign close encounter of the worst kind.
When Democrat Dave Suetholz dropped by a rural Henry County farmhouse, the owner greeted him with a shotgun.
“It turned out to be one of my favorite interactions,” grinned Suetholz, who aims to unseat Sen. Paul Hornback (R-Shelbyville). “We had a 30-minute conversation just sitting on his stoop. We talked about the construction industry and the degradation of the working man over the years.”
