In a survey last February, 154 scholars rated Donald Trump America’s worst president.
Trump won anyway, but not with historian and author John Hennen’s vote. He agrees with the ranking but warns that Trump has “a genius for comprehending the most exploitable evil in people and then make a bee-line for it.”
That genius was a big factor in Trump winning the presidency twice, according to Hennen, a professor emeritus of history at Morehead State University.
