“When the sun comes up on Kentucky tomorrow it will shine on working families who will take pride in what we have done, together, to put our state on the path to a stronger future. From teachers who will now be supported instead of scapegoated, to county and municipal workers whose retirement is a bit more secure, we can focus on making things better. After working a shift building cars, unloading freight or bottling bourbon, this dedicated team knocked on more than 50,000 doors, made tens of thousands of phone calls and made the voice of working families heard loud and clear.

“Tonight, we celebrate because tomorrow we get back to work. When the sun sets tomorrow there will still be important things for us to tackle. We know that with Andy Beshear working families have a strong ally. Together, Kentucky’s working families can solve any problem. We have before and we will again.”
