KDP: ICYMI: After Two Weeks of Publicity Stunts, Mitch Goes Maskless in Meeting with Trump

Frankfort, KY — After weeks of rightfully encouraging Kentuckians to wear a mask to help curb a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, today Mitch McConnell once again proved himself to be a hypocrite. 

According to a Reuters reporter, McConnell was at the White House today. But in a meeting with President Donald Trump and others indoors, Mitch kept his mask in his hand rather than appropriately wearing it on his face. 

"As usual, when Mitch is home in Kentucky he does one thing. But then when he’s hanging with his friends in the DC Swamp he does something completely different,” Kentucky Democratic Party spokesperson Marisa McNee said. “Kentucky needs real leadership and Amy McGrath will provide that as Kentucky’s next senator.”
