KY 120 United AFT is a union of professionals that advocates for a high-quality public education along with delivering quality public services that will allow for our Commonwealth to grow and thrive. We are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining, and political activism, and especially through the work our members do.

Together we are stronger, and every voice matters.

This election will decide the fate of public education for decades to come. We are well into our push to advocate against Amendment 2 by educating ourselves and our communities about the detrimental effects of changing our KY Constitution.

AFT-Fayette will be hosting a town hall forum on Sept. 26 in Lexington to further engage with our community regarding Amendment 2. This town hall is open to the public. Members and non-members are welcome to attend. It would be great to have members surrounding Fayette attend and bring a friend! More details about the event are below.

We have heard from our Western Kentucky brothers and sisters who are being inundated with ads in support of Amendment 2. We will be sharing information specifically about the impact of A2 on WKY and encourage everyone to share with their networks.
