Speculation swirled around a state Environmental Protection Agency truck parked at the Capitol this morning.

Some statehouse habitués suspected that the vehicle was summoned to eradicate four years of foul odors coming from the governor's office. The EPA crew was reportedly seen wearing hazmat suits and carrying large drums marked "EXTRA STRENGTH LYSOL."

According to reports, the crew emerged from the governor's office not only with the empty drums but also with large clear plastic bags stuffed with what appeared to be shredded documents.

This is a developing story. Check back for details.
