Bevin on teachers: “you just need to knock them out and drag them to shore”
American Bridge is launching new ads against America’s most corrupt (and as of today unpopular) Governor Matt Bevin this afternoon. The statewide ads are geo-targeted to Kentucky teachers. Bevin, who graduated from a private Maine prep school, has spent the last few weeks attacking and bullying Kentucky teachers who are defending public education.
“It’s no coincidence that Matt Bevin officially became America’s most unpopular Governor after weeks of bullying teachers fighting for public education,” said American Bridge spokesperson Zach Hudson. “Kentucky teachers are spending out of their own pockets to educate their students, but prep school graduate Matt Bevin actually wants to fine them for standing up for public schools. No wonder Kentucky voters hate him.”
