Negroes are almost entirely a working people. There are pitifully few Negro millionaires, and few Negro employers. Our needs are identical with labor's needs — decent wages, fair working conditions, livable housing, old age security, health and welfare measures, conditions in which families can grow, have education for their children and respect in the community. That is why Negroes support labor's demands and fight laws which curb labor. That is why the labor-hater and labor-baiter is virtually always a twin-headed creature spewing anti-Negro epithets from one mouth and anti-labor propaganda from the other mouth. -- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

If you are not too busy this afternoon, consider joining the Poor People's Campaign Car Caravan at McConnell’s offices across Kentucky.  Go to their Facebook page (see link below) to let them know you are going and get details for location to join each caravan.

Here's the information for our National and Kentucky Poor People's Campaign Moral Monday protest caravan on Mitch McConnell's offices across the state of KY and in DC this Monday 9/21/20.  KFTC, Labor Unions, and United We Stand will be partnering with our KY Poor People's Campaign and the Nation will be watching and prayerfully supporting Kentuckians as our KY PPC goes Live!

From Paducah to Bowling Green to Louisville to Lexington to Fort Wright to London, the Kentucky Poor People's Campaign is coordinating a multi-city car caravan protest of the offices of Mitch McConnell on Monday, Sept 21st. We will be joined in solidarity at his national office by our DC area Poor People's Campaign as well.

The car caravan protests will coincide with the ongoing Moral Monday digital march hosted by Poor People's Campaign Co-Chair Rev. William Barber, and live reports from each location will be part of the national digital march.
