Progress America: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

Back in 2018, Trump said this after he canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris, blaming the rain — but in reality he didn’t want to mess up his hair, according to those with firsthand knowledge of the discussion.

In that same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 Marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

Donald Trump has called Americans Who Died in War “Losers” and “Suckers.” We need a Commander-in-Chief who understands the sacrifice service members make, and who upholds the oath with the utmost respect as we do.

How dare Trump disrespect those who gave their life in defense of this country. Too many veterans and their families have had to endure the unbelievable loss of sons, daughters, parents, siblings, spouses and friends in war.

If you agree that this is disgusting behavior from any person, let alone the Commander-in-Chief, then add your name to our petition condemning this unacceptable language

During his entire presidency, Trump has continually used the military to appear patriotic and an ally to the veteran community, even wanting to use the military in parades and as props in his rallies. Yet, Trump has asked his staff to not include wounded veterans for these events because to him, “nobody wants to see that.”

The bottom line is Trump doesn’t care about sacrifice for our country, he only cares about himself and holding on to his stolen power — and he is far from worthy of the position of leading this country.

We are proud to be a grassroots movement of “losers and suckers” organizing to #EndForeverWar, defeat Trump, and win a country where liberty & justice truly is for all.

We must band together now, Berry. If you agree that this type of behavior is unacceptable, will you add your name to stand against these comments made by this disgrace of a president?
