Rally to 'Remember in November'
By BILL LONDRIGAN
Kentucky State AFL-CIO
Tomorrow and Saturday are the final two scheduled days of the 2018 regular session of the Kentucky General Assembly and we are expecting thousands of teachers, state workers, union members and supporters at the Capitol.
We will begin Friday with a 9 a.m. press conference at the state federation office, 140 Kings Daughter Dr., #100, and then we will proceed to the Capitol following the press conference.
We need to be there to insure that we hold legislators accountable and prevent them from doing any further damage to the workers of Kentucky. As you are aware Kentucky has joined West Virginia, Oklahoma and Arizona in leading the charge against the Koch Brothers/ALEC/Bevin agenda.
The more folks that are in Frankfort tomorrow and Saturday, the stronger our message will be and the stronger the movement to “Remember in November.”
