The Senate today passed Stivers's SB 7 forced arbitration bill 26 - 10. Friday, they will hear SB 18, the pregnancy workplace accommodation bill with a committee sub and a floor amendment.

House Small Business and Information Technology voted 10 - 7 - 1 to move along HB 317, the unemployment insurance cuts. Bill Londrigan and Dustin Pugel testified against the bill. I've attached a couple of press clips below. The Cheves piece in the Herald-Leader has some good copy we may be able to use going forward, and the piece is very sympathetic. The Beam AP headline calls out Webber for his hypocrisy, as he was once a UI recipient.

Both chambers have floor sessions at 9:00 AM Friday.

Since there are no more additional bills that will drop, I'll be focusing on what is moving (or not) and paying close attention to Committee Subs and/or Floor Amendments that could alter otherwise benign bills. You will notice several bills highlighted in gray on the tracker. These are bills that were either a) assigned to committee back in January and have shown no movement yet or b) Introduced at least ten days ago without having been referred to a committee. It doesn't mean they won't move, but it's starting to become less likely.
