"Stand! tells the important story of the power of collective action. Workers should see this film to learn not only about labor history but the important value of fighting for our rights and greater justice." -Richard Trumka, President, AFL-CIO

Hello. It's Danny Schur, composer/producer/co-writer of the new Hollywood, labor movie musical Stand! - now streaming on virtual cinema across America.

Stand! is a union production, made in partnership with unions across North America. It tells a riveting labor story (the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike) with a diverse cast of working-class heroes and an inspiring ode to solidarity. In its Canadian debut, the movie was the #1 Canadian movie at the box office.

In response to the unprecedented COVID pandemic, we pivoted from in-theatre distribution to an exclusively online model. Now, union members and their families can watch the movie from the comfort of their own home - while still supporting a bricks & mortar independent movie theater of their choice.

For as little as $10.00/household, we ask union members across the U.S. to watch the movie on the virtual cinema before Jan. 28th, 2021. Click the link below for tickets at the virtual theater of your choice. Locals, please forward this email to your members.

In solidarity,

Danny Schur
