Support the ATU and public transit in Louisville
From Dustin Reinstedler, Kentucky State AFL-CIO president.
Please see below information and active link from ATU President Brents. As you have heard me say recently, this isn't just an attack on union workers and their families, it's also an attack on the families who rely on this necessary transportation to go to work, the grocery, church, doctors/hospitals, and more. These cuts come at a time when the city has plenty of money to offer to private developers for large scale retail/multifamily housing, a soccer stadium, and other projects that make people money, but we can't afford TARC any longer? Participate in the link below and we hope to see you this coming Wednesday at noon, 6th and Jefferson, downtown Louisville. I have copied President Brents above if anyone cares to reach out to offer any assistance.
In solidarity, Dustin

From President Brents: The ATU is asking everyone to support Public transit TARC/ATU to prevent service cut and lost jobs by advocating funding for TARC by completing this out.
We have a practice picket on Wednesday, 5-1-24, May Day, 12 to 3 at 6th and Jefferson streets. I'll be doing a press conference at 1pm. Also, make sure you do the budget survey and call your city council person asking them to fund TARC.
