Brother Larry Roberts, Secretary of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet announced this week that he is retiring effective June 30.
Larry has served labor his entire career with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, as former state director of the Kentucky State Building and Construction Trades Council and the Kentucky Pipe Trades. He served as secretary of labor under both Governor Steve Beshear and Governor Andy Beshear.
Larry is a friend and mentor to many including me, and has always been a strong advocate for organized labor and on behalf of all working families in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s Building Trades members wish Secretary Roberts a long and healthy retirement.
