Today is Workers’ Memorial Day around the globe and there are hundreds of commemorations planned for today and tomorrow.

The Northern Kentucky CLC in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati CLC held their Workers’ Memorial Commemoration last evening.  Today the Western Kentucky CLC, Owensboro CLC and the Tri-County CLC will hold commemorations with the details below.  All are invited and you are requested to keep the memories of those killed and injured on the job in mind today and remember the role that organized labor plays in protecting the lives and limbs of our fellow workers.

Organized labor is the only group that annually recognizes and commemorates the sacrifices of ALL workers killed and injured on the job and vows to “Mourn For The Dead and Fight Like Hell for the Living!”

In Solidarity, Bill.
