Union members helped swell the Andy Beshear crowd at Fancy Farm, cheering the governor and the rest of your Kentucky State AFL-CIO-endorsed ticket.

Several of them also joined a multi-vehicle caravan that traveled to the picknic from the Graves County Democratic Party Brunch.

Executive Board member Kevin Walton of Hanson, a Steelworker, packed a large blue USW flag. Steelworkers Josh Gray of Paducah, Justin Herthel of Louisville and Chad of Elizabethtown brought Steelworkers for Beshear yard signs and a USW flag. Conley, the USW District 8 Rapid Response coordinator, is also on the state E-board.

In the crowd, too, were retired Steelworker Kenny Tyler of Arington and Larry Sanderson, a longtime Paducah union activist and UA retiree. He emceed the pre-Fancy Farm Danny Ross West Kentucky Building and Constructions Trade Council Labor Luncheon.

Besides Gov. Beshear and Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, our endorsed candidates are: State Rep. Col. (ret.) Pamela Stevenson, attorney general; Buddy Wheatley, secretary of state; Michael Bowman, treasurer; Kim Reeder, auditor, and Sierra Enlow, agriculture commissioner.
