EDITOR'S NOTE: We thank Tim Morris, GLCLC executive director, for alerting us to this tweet from Jacob Munoz, WFPL's business and development reporter.

"NEW: Baristas at a Louisville area Starbucks are looking to become the chain's fourth group in the city to unionize.

"Employees at the store on 972 Baxter Ave have filed with the NLRB for union representation, according to a Workers United press release."

Earlier, Munoz tweeted: "This announcement comes days after unionized baristas at a Louisville Starbucks took part in a nationwide strike to protest corporate decisions. The Factory Lane employees have been stalled in contract negotiations with the company:" Click here for a WFPL story on the strike by Breya Jones.
