Moscow Mitch has proven himself willing to mess around with your life and health during this time of global pandemic. He's taken his own sweet time—and the nation's time—in having the Senate act on the second big coronavirus response bill from Nancy Pelosi's House. On Tuesday, Nissan shut down Britain’s largest car plant in Sunderland, where over 6,000 mostly white members of the British union Unite maintain a powerful check on the company.

However, in Canton, Mississippi, over 4,000 non-union and largely African-American auto workers at Nissan’s plant are being forced to work in conditions that workers say are ripe for spreading the deadly COVID-19 virus.

SEND AN EMAIL NOW to tell your State Senator to reject these drastic and dangerous cuts that threaten the lives and well-being of Kentucky’s workers, families and communities!

HB 352 – (the House Budget Bill) proposes a total reduction in the Kentucky Labor Cabinet FY 2021-2022 Budget of $6,428,600.

Of these reductions only $385,110 are General Fund dollars.

“At a time when every Kentuckian is being asked to sacrifice in unprecedented ways to help ensure that the COVID-19 virus will not spread further, the Kentucky General Assembly, led by Senate President Robert Stivers and House Speaker David Osborne, has grasped on to an ill-conceived notion that they should be  immune to the voices and wishes of the people they are supposed to serve.

Your help is needed today, now, to contact your KY State Senator to stop the funding cuts to the KY Labor Cabinet in the 2-year budget bill.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, describes President Trump’s “decision to dismantle [Obama’s] National Security Council Directorate for Global Health and Security and Bio-defense in 2018 as unwise.”

Because of his flood of misinformation and lies, Trump has been benched as a bystander by school superintendents, sports commissioners, college presidents, governors and business owners across the country.
