From Honi Goldman: Belcher fund-raiser set for Feb. 1 in Louisville
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Kentucky State AFL-CIO has endorsed Belcher.
Linda Belcher is running in the special election on Feb. 20 for that seat vacated when Dan Johnson killed himself after serious sexual assaults were revealed. If you remember, Dan narrowly won District 49 (neighboring Bullitt County) in 2016, even after posting racist photos of President Obama.
Linda has had an active career in education, beginning as a teacher and administrator in the Bullitt County school system. She represented Bullitt County in the state legislature from 2008-2012 and 2014-2016, serving as vice chair of the Education Committee.
Linda is a friend of Louisville and of Jefferson County. And we need Linda to help take back the Kentucky House. Please feel free to past this invite on to your email lists.
