U.S. Rep. James Comer said Monday that Gov. Matt Bevin will have to ditch his arrogant attitude if he wants to lead Kentucky through great challenges.

Comer decided against running for governor, but not before throwing some stiff jabs at the Republican incumbent. He said he wants Bevin to succeed, but advised that it will take a radical change in the governor's approach.

"I don't doubt his ability, and I've not disagreed with him on very many issues," Comer said in an interview with the Courier Journal. "It's just unless Gov. Bevin changes his attitude and reduces his level of arrogance, he's going to be unable to pass a bold agenda."
