Some 31,000 members of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) have entered Day Six of their strike at Stop & Shop supermarkets across New England. As negotiations continue, management is continuing to demand unreasonable concessions. “The concessions they want would affect members in different ways, and we will leave no member behind,”said leaders of UFCW Local 919. “We reaffirmed to the company that our members are strong and will continue standing together, rain or shine, until the company does the right thing.”

Message of the Day—Never Cross a Picket Line

Stand with our brothers and sisters today by signing UFCW’s petitiondemanding that executives agree to a fair contract that reflects the true value of their workers.
