From the Stumbo campaign: Party over people?
Want to know what I'm all about? Well, it's simple.
I think it's the job of the attorney general to stand up and fight regardless of political party.
I mean, that typically should go without saying, right? But, seems like in these tricky days that too many politicians put party over people.
That's my promise to you, as your attorney general, I'll put the people of Kentucky first and work to root out corruption in all its forms.

Example. Back when I was serving as your attorney general in 2004, I took on illegal hiring practices in the governor's office.
It was a Republican then, but, if it had been a Democrat, my answer's the same: corruption and illegal activities must be rooted out, no matter who is behind them.
Now, my opponent, we can't be sure that's his answer. He's Mitch McConnell's personal lawyer and a lobbyist for Big Pharma. That speaks to his character. That's just a fact.
This election is about Kentucky's future, and what kind of public servants we want working for us.
