[Wednesday] night, news broke that Rand Paul invested in the drug company that made a COVID treatment drug back in February 2020 — right before the public knew how bad the pandemic would get. Days after that, he cast the only vote in the Senate against an emergency spending bill to combat the emerging outbreak.

As a U.S. Senator, Rand Paul had access to secret intelligence briefings about the massive threat that COVID-19 posed to the United States. We don’t know what he knew and when, but what we do know is that this is serious, and deserves to be treated as such.

Now we understand why he opposed COVID relief. Now we know why he never wanted you to wear a mask. This is Kelly Loeffler all over again, but worse...and we demand answers.

The U.S. Senate Ethics Committee must launch an investigation into Rand Paul's insider trading allegations, and we need you to join us in calling for this investigation now. Will you add your name to our petition?

Other U.S. Senators like Kelly Loeffler, David Perdue, and Richard Burr also purchased stocks through alleged insider trading before COVID-19 hit. They were all placed under investigation. In fact, Rand waited 16 months to disclose his stock purchases while he knew his colleagues were being investigated for insider trading.

Today, Rand is the face of the anti-vaccination movement in the Senate, spreading dangerous lies and misinformation about COVID-19.

Berry, it’s clear that members of Congress should be banned from trading stocks. But members of Congress also shouldn’t put themselves above the priorities of their constituents, which is exactly all Rand Paul’s has been doing for the decade he’s been “representing” Kentuckians.

We’re ready to end this chapter of failed leadership in Kentucky. But first, we need to hold our current leaders accountable. Add your name to our petition to tell the U.S. Senate Ethics Committee to launch an investigation into Rand Paul's insider trading allegations.
