All, non union masonry contractor Carmicle from Lexington Ky is laying block and brick at the new courthouse in LaGrange Ky. This is a publicly funded project with your tax dollars yet Carmicle allegedly brings in workers from other states who are misclassified as “sub contractors “ in order to avoid taxes, workers comp, etc. On top of this, the general contractor Wehr is union with many other trades but not the Bricklayers. It’s time we show a little BAC strength. Please join us for a job action with our banners and blow up rats on Thursday Aug17 at 8am.
