Beshear Campaign Accepts Invitation to Debate Hosted by League of Women Voters and WLKY

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Today, Gov. Andy Beshear’s campaign announced that it has accepted an invitation for a debate hosted by the League of Women Voters and WLKY in Louisville, adding to four other debate invitations the campaign previously accepted in Paducah, Lexington and Northern Kentucky.

The Beshear campaign has confirmed participation in the following debates:

  • Gubernatorial Lunch Forum, hosted by the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce and WPSD, Thursday, October 12, 12:00pm CT
  • Northern Kentucky Gubernatorial Debate, hosted by the League of Women Voters, Monday, October 16, 6:00pm ET (pending schedule confirmation)
  • League of Women Voters Candidate Debate, hosted by the League of Women Voters and WLKY, Saturday, October 21, 8:00pm ET
  • Kentucky Tonight Gubernatorial Debate, hosted by KET, Monday, October 23, 8:00pm ET
  • The Kentucky Debate, hosted by WKYT, Tuesday, October 24, 7:00pm ET

Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman has also agreed to participate in the lieutenant governor candidate debate on KET on October 30.
 
In addition to these five televised debates, the Beshear campaign will attend the Kentucky Chamber Gubernatorial Forum on September 20.
