From The Beshear-Coleman campaign: VIDEO: Beshear Slams Bevin for Dishonest Claim To Cover-Up His Administration’s Blackjewel Failure

Andy Beshear is slamming Matt Bevin’s false claim that his administration didn’t know about the paycheck protection law they failed to enforce that could have paid the Blackjewel miners -- even though his Labor Cabinet actively tried to eliminate the law. 

Sharing the new video today, Beshear said: “After we exposed that the Bevin administration wasn’t enforcing a law that could have helped the Blackjewel miners, Matt Bevin said they didn’t know about it. That wasn't true. The governor knew about the law & actively tried to repeal it. You deserve results, not excuses.”

As of today, the Lexington Herald-Leader added that Bevin’s Labor Cabinet is still “silent” on how they will seek the past-due performance bonds.
