Beshear for Governor Raises Another $850K in Last 15 Days
New filing brings total raised to date to roughly 19M in final pre-election report.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In his campaign’s 15 day pre-general fundraising filing, Gov. Andy Beshear will report having raised nearly $850,000 since October 9th and a total of roughly $19M since he announced his reelection.
“This final pre-election fundraising report shows our campaign remains in a strong position heading into the final days to reelect one of the most popular governors in the country,” said campaign manager Eric Hyers. “Voters are fired up to reelect Andy Beshear and their enthusiasm is clear on the ground, in polling and in all of our fundraising numbers. Throughout this entire race, our campaign has out-raised and out-organized the Cameron campaign, and we’re ready to win on November 7th.”
During his time in office, Gov. Beshear has removed barriers to health care coverage and relaunched kynect to expand quality care to more Kentuckians, restored voting rights for more than 180,000 Kentuckians, and invested in public schools, high speed internet and clean drinking water. In the last legislative session, he signed into law two of the biggest legislative priorities that he campaigned on in 2019, legalizing both medical cannabis and sports betting in the Commonwealth. The governor has also led Kentucky to historic economic growth with 48,000 more jobs than before the pandemic, and provided strong, steady leadership during some of the most difficult years in Kentucky with COVID and deadly natural disasters.
