The Calloway County Democratic Party would like to express its sincerest condolences to those affected by the tornadoes on December 11, 2021. We stand by Western Kentucky as a whole, as well as our neighboring counties, Graves and Marshall, as they sort through the physical and emotional ramifications of this disaster. Our hearts and sympathies are with those individuals at this time.

We would like to take a moment to thank Governor Andy Beshear for his quick action to help aid in recovery efforts in Western Kentucky, as well as both Governor Beshear and President Biden for their dedicated efforts in delivering aid to our affected counties.

The West KY Community Foundation has organized a Tornado Relief Fund, with a pledge to match donations up to $66000. You can donate herehttps://www.gofundme.com/f/matching-fund-for-westky-tornado-relief

Governor Beshear has established the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the tornados and the severe weather system on December 11, 2021. You can donate here: https://secure.kentucky.gov/formservices/Finance/WKYRelief

If you would like to volunteer to help with the cleanup efforts, The Mayfield Messenger has organized an online sign-up form. You can find that here: https://surveyhero.com/c/viuf4h7p
