Can't make it to the polls on Nov. 8? You can vote early.

You don't have to wait until election day to cast your ballot. 

As of today, Oct. 31, there are three ways to vote, two by absentee, according to the Kentucky State Board of Elections:

If you have a valid excuse for not voting on election day, Nov. 8, you can vote in person from today through Nov. 2. CLICK HERE for a list of valid excuses. No excuse is required to vote by absentee from Nov. 3-Nov. 5. 

The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., local time, on Nov. 8.
