Todd Dunn and Berry Craig spoke on behalf of organized labor at Wednesday's  "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 50 Year Memorial March to Move" in Frankfort in honor of Dr. King, who was murdered in Memphis on April 4, 1968.

Dunn, from Louisville, and Craig, from Mayfield, are members of the Kentucky State AFL-CIO Executive Board. Dunn is president of the Greater Louisville Central Labor Council and president of UAW Local 862. A charter member of AFT Local 1360, Craig is also the state AFL-CIO webmaster-editor.

Their speeches follow an introduction by Christian Motley of Lexington at the 51-minute mark of a video produced by Tim Morris of the GLCLC and the 1:27/31 mark of a video produced by Brad Bowman of the Kentucky Democratic Party.

The several hundred marchers followed the route taken by the 10,000-strong, historic March 5, 1964, march Dr. King led.

The speakers, who also included state Sen. Gerald Neal, D-Louisville, State Reps. Derrick Graham, D-Frankfort and James Kay, D-Versailles, and Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, delivered remarks where Dr. King spoke 54 years ago.
