In his response, Councilmember O’Rourke will help us make meaning of what is happening right now in U.S. politics, lay out our vision for the nation we’re trying to build together, and share our political strategy for 2024, including how we can block MAGA extremists and build working-class power nationwide.
If we want to emerge from 2024 stronger than we are today, then we need a united movement of working people — bridged by our moral clarity and a shared vision for our collective futures — to stand across our differences, and create change.
We’re in an era of compounding crises, Berry, with injustices prevailing everywhere from workplaces, to schools, to courtrooms, to the environment, to Gaza. The list is endless.
