I want to say one more thing

Tomorrow will mark the 483rd, and final, day of this mission to defeat Mitch McConnell and defend and protect our democracy.

Before we all turn in, I wanted to share the thoughts I’ll be carrying with me into our final 24 hours.

From the very start, we’ve been the underdog in this election—few believed we’d come far, especially against a 36-year incumbent propped up by special-interest cash.

We refused to back down. For hundreds of mornings in a row, this team woke up and plowed ahead, fueled by our belief that we deserve leaders who listen and care. Every single day, we got stronger—a few more people squared their shoulders and helped build the kind of campaign that can overcome the steepest of odds.

We persisted through a pandemic and made this a neck-and-neck race. Together, we’ve set voter contact records and completely erased the fundraising advantage that Mitch McConnell spent nearly four decades building.

Our campaign presents a challenge to Mitch’s power without precedent or parallel. And we are within striking distance of pulling off one of the biggest political upsets in memory.

So, before tomorrow begins, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done to make this possible, and every way you’ve kept the faith—through a public health crisis, through disheartening failure from Washington, and in the face of endless nasty attacks.

For 36 years, Mitch McConnell has held the commonwealth in contempt. Rather than listen to and uplift the people who represent him, he’s spent decades serving us obstruction, corruption, and B.S. For too long, he’s sacrificed the people’s interests to the pursuit of power—summed up in his final action of the cycle, forgoing critical, life-saving pandemic relief to confirm a hyperpartisan Supreme Court justice who is expected to vote to strip health care from millions.

Mitch McConnell deserves to lose his job. And tomorrow, we can make sure he does.

So I need to ask one last time for your help in the final hours of this election:

First things first, please share this voting information to help everyone you know cast their ballot before polls close.

Then, if you can, sign up for a final volunteer shift to help get out of the vote.

None of this would be possible without you, so I want to say one more time: I’m grateful for everything. Now let’s go win.
