Please email your JCPS school board members at angela.gilpin@jefferson.kyschools.us (Limit of 500 words or less) and tell them to take care of Plant Operators and why Plant Operators deserve the $3.50 an hour increase. These emails will be read at the next school board meeting on 3-23-21.
Plant Operators are a vital part of keeping schools clean and safe for staff and children, yet the District is sweeping Plant Operators and the staff shortages under the rug and not compensating them for the work they do.
Our children and staff deserve to work in a safe and clean environment and Plant Operators are the crucial link to ensure these schools are SAFE and CLEAN. It is time to take care of our Plant Operators.
