KDP: FLIP FLOP ALERT: AG Cameron Was Against Suing the Governor Before He Was For It

Frankfort, KY -- On Friday, Attorney General Daniel Cameron became the only Attorney General in the country to sue a governor over a mask order.

Since Attorney General Cameron seems intent on continuing his pandering parade of judge-shopping across the Commonwealth, we figured it would be a good time to reflect on what he told the public while during an appearance on KET when he was running for office just a year ago: 

"Well I think at the end of the day, you can certainly spend your time in Frankfort suing the governor and suing the general assembly, but again I take a different view of the Office of Attorney General. That the eye, in my judgement, has been off the ball in terms of the drug epidemic we have in Kentucky. I think this office needs to primarily be about that concern."

Currently, more than 20 states have a mandatory mask requirement based on emergency powers granted to governors to keep us safe.

“I suppose it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Daniel Cameron would put his own political ambitions above the health and safety of the Commonwealth. He was taught by one of the most selfish and crass politicians in the country. I’m sure Mitch is quite proud,” said Marisa McNee, Spokeswoman for the Kentucky Democratic Party. “Kentuckians deserve better.”
