Frankfort, KY – With just weeks before election day, Western Kentuckian teachers and workers joined together for a press conference in Paducah for the fourth stop on the statewide “Won’t Be Bullied By Bevin” tour to hold Matt Bevin accountable for his failed record of bullying and insulting teachers, and attacking workers. The “Won’t Be Bullied By Bevin” tour began last week and has stopped inHenderson,Pikeville, andBowling Green.

“As we enter the final sprint to election day, Western Kentuckians are delivering a clear message that we are holding Matt Bevin accountable for his record of attacking working families across our commonwealth,” said Kyle Henderson, Business Manager of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 184. “Bevin has not only insulted our teachers and torn down public education – he has shown that he’s simply not on the side of working families. Working men and women are standing up in solidarity to put an end to these attacks and support Andy Beshear for governor, who will bring good-paying jobs to Kentucky and strengthen public education.”
