FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, the Kentucky Democratic Party released the following statement on President Donald Trump’s plan to appoint Chad Meredith, a former senior official in Gov. Matt Bevin’s administration who was responsible for orchestrating Bevin’s heinous pardons of murderers, sexual predators and a child rapist, to the federal bench:

“Chad Meredith has no business being on the federal bench after helping orchestrate pardons of murderers and child rapists,” said Kentucky Democratic Party spokesperson Nat Turner. “The families of the victims deserve better. Kentucky deserves better.”
