Kentuckians help swell the ranks at rally for UMWA strikers in Alabama

A contingent of about 50 Kentucky union members and supporters today joined thousands of United Mine Workers of America members and members of other unions for a rally at Tannehill State Park in McCalla, Ala., in support of UMWA miners on strike at Warrior Met Coal.

UMWA International President Cecil Roberts was the featured speaker. Other labor leaders who spoke included Bill Londrigan, Kentucky State AFL-CIO president.
