Like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez I was raised Catholic. Counting graduate work at Georgetown, I attended Catholic schools for more than twenty years. My first college teaching job, which I held for three years, was at Wheeling College—since renamed Wheeling Jesuit University.
